Deep in the Colombian Amazon, the Bará people preserve a culture and knowledge that goes back thousands of years ago. During the last decades they have been dealing with evangelization and a school system that does not recognize their way of life or their knowledge. Elias faces this reality now that he needs to send his daughter, Nalda, to a boarding school, where she will forget their traditional way of life that is on the verge of extinction.
